Q1 : You previously tried a Sérénité Grossesse treatment - was it the same as this Sérénité Grossesse treatment?
The success of our Sérénité Grossesse treatment indicated that there is a real demand for information and supplements. So, we created a completely separate food supplement, which is even easier to use: with the new Sérénité Grossesse, one capsule a day is all you need. The new Sérénité Grossesse is rich in iodine, selenium, and vitamine D.
Q2 : I know that chemical pollutants found in fish can be especially harmful to the foetus. What is the quality of your omega-3?
Sérénité Grossesse contains 350 mg of omega 3 of marine origin, and 300 mg of omega 3 of vegetable origin. Marin omega 3 comes from EPAX quality fish oil, this being an international lable which certifies the purety and concentration in fatty acids of selected fish oils.
Q3 : I am 33 years ol dand I would like to have a child. After 2 miscarriages and infertility treatment, I have questions about my nutrition and environment.
The impact of nutritional therapy on the health is significantly underestimated in France. Although medical support as of conception is good, few practicians take the nutritional environment into account. It has been found that numerous external factors (stress, pollution, smoking, certain medication, and dieting) can affect the optimimum absorption of nutrients, or over consumption of nutrients. This has the effect of damaging conception but also the health of the child throughout the pregnancy. This is why we created Sérénité Grossesse: accompanied by a balanced diet, it provides all the essential nutrients. We recommend you download our leaflet "10 nutritional tips", which gives some advice on optimising your nutrition.
Q4 : Why doesn't Sérénité Grossesse contain iron? Surely this is an important element during pregnancy?
Taken in excess, iron, copper and manganes are inflammatory minerals, combining them causes the release of free radicals. Iron should be taken separately from vitamin C: combining them causes the release of free radicals. You should also avoid combining iron and zinc, as iron inhibits the absorption of zinc, which is vital during the pre-conception and pregnancy period. This is why we do not combine iron, zinc, vitamin C etc. An iron supplement is only indicated when an insufficiency has been revealed by a blood test, and ferrite is lower than 30 mg/l. Then an iron supplement should be taken separately from Sérénité Grossesse : take iron in the morning at breakfast, for example, and the Sérénité Grossesse supplement at lunch or dinner.
